Kitano Ijinkan Street (about 1 hour)
A large number of Western-style buildings were constructed in Kobe during the Meiji and Taisho periods. Currently, the Kitano generation in Chuo Ward has the most comprehensive preservation. The area from Yamamoto-dori 1-chome to 3-chome in Kitano is referred to as Kitano Ijinkan Street. Most of them were private residences of foreign businessmen or foreign embassies and consulates. If you walk up the mountain along Kitano-dori or Ijinkan-dori, you will see many small Western-style buildings in front of you one by one. Some have been transformed into museums or art galleries, while others remain unchanged and are open to the public. Boutiques, coffee shops, small restaurants, and flower shops can be found between Western-style homes. The entire area is filled with an elegant and exotic atmosphere. It's like a small European town, perfect for walking.
Starbucks Kitano Ijinkan concept store is the first Starbucks in Japan.
The building was constructed in 1907 and boasts a history of over 100 years. Originally, it was an American mansion , but it was later bought by a German baker. After his son inherited it, it was converted into a coffee shop on the first floor and information on the second floor. A Western-style pavilion is displayed. Later, it was destroyed during the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995. It was finally restored at its original location and became a national tangible cultural property facility of Japan. In 2009, Starbucks transformed the legendary building into the oldest Starbucks store: Kobe Kitano Ijinkan Store.

Best prices to get tickets!
Great memories, good price
This app made it super easy to reserve a space and time for our trip to NYC. We usually take the train, but needed a car this time. I usually hate looking for parking, so I tried to find a garage near our hotel. When I found that there was one just a block away I went to their website and saw that they had this app. It was super easy to set up and I found a space and was able to adjust the time and complete my transaction from creating an account to having a full parking space reservation in about five minutes. Unfortunately I ended up having to cancel my trip about a week early so I requested a refund and it was instant with no hassle. I think in general, from now on I’ll just use this app to see if there are other parking garages by the same owner, and reserve spaces in those (if I ever have to bring a car back to NYC - I still like the train better). The only 2 things things that I would wish for are: 1. That they had an option to add the parking pass to your Apple Wallet so I just need to bring up a code on my phone when I get there and they scan it. 2. They allowed you to add a previously booked guest reservation to your current account. I started on the web with the reservation and then got the app and wanted to add the reservation to the app, but couldn’t. I kept the app and will now use it from now on instead of checking out as a “guest” from now on. Overall, a great app.
