Shiraito waterfall in Itoshima, Kyushu is located in the middle of Mount Hagane at an altitude of 900 meters and is a designated scenic spot in Fukuoka Prefecture. The height difference of Shiraito Falls is about 24 meters. Just as its name suggests, the water of the waterfall flows like fine white silk threads. The splashing water in summer is refreshing, making it a great place to relax with rich negative ions and natural atmosphere. It is also a well-known attraction in Japan.
There is a natural walking trail near the parking lot. You can take a leisurely walk, listen to the gurgling of the stream and the chirping of birds along the way, and take pictures to record the beautiful scenery.

Raizansennyoji Taihioin is a famous place for enjoying maple leaves in autumn. The beautiful courtyard, the 4-meter-tall wooden standing statue of Thousand-armed Kannon, and the five hundred arhats lined up on the slope of the mountain are all worth a special visit.
It is said that Raizansennyoji Taihioin was first built in the 14th year of Tempyo (742 AD). Raizansennyoji Taihioin was built by Kuroda Tsugutaka in the 2nd year of Horeki (1752 AD). The temple enshrines the "wooden standing statue of Thousand-armed Kannon", a national designated important cultural property from the Kamakura period, the "wooden seated statue of Seiga Joshi", and the "wooden statue of Tamonten" and "wooden statue of Jikokuten", which are designated cultural properties of Fukuoka Prefecture.
As the center of Kannon belief in Raizan, the principal wooden standing statue of Thousand-armed Kannon in Daihio-in Temple is also called the "16-foot Thousand-armed Kannon statue" because its height is close to 16 feet (about 4.8 meters). Judging from its morphological characteristics, this statue is considered to be a work from the late Kamakura period (about 700 years ago). Usually, the Thousand-armed Kannon statue is simplified to 48 hands, but this one actually has a thousand hands.
A large maple tree about 400 years old: There is a large maple tree about 400 years old in the temple precincts, which has been designated as a natural monument in Fukuoka Prefecture. During the maple leaf season in November every year, the maple tree turns bright red, attracting many worshipers to come and watch. The scenery in the new green season is also very beautiful, and you can enjoy its different appearances in all seasons. In addition, you can reach Kaminari Shrine by climbing a little upward from Daihio-in Temple. There is a 900-year-old ginkgo tree, a 250-year-old fir tree, a Japanese maple tree over 400 years old, and a "Kannon cedar" over 1000 years old. These trees are all listed as natural monuments designated by Fukuoka Prefecture. The best time to enjoy the maple leaves is from the beginning to the middle of November.

The sacred ground of Sakurai Shrine built by Kuroda Tadaoki, the second lord of the Fukuoka Domain, has been deeply respected since ancient times. The pure white torii gate standing in front of the blue sea is very impressive. The Meoto-iwa Rocks, about 150 meters from the coast, are a 11.8-meter-high male rock and a 11.2-meter-high female rock tied together with a large shimenawa rope. Sakurai Futamigaura is the sacred body of Sakurai Shrine. It was once said in the early days that it was the "entrance to the Ryugu Palace". With the floating Meoto-iwa Rocks, it is as famous as Futamigaura in Ise City, Mie Prefecture.
The sea is calm in spring and the waves are rough in winter. The scenery changes with the seasons, making Futamigaura a popular photo spot.

"Fukuoka Tower" is located in the coastal area in the northern part of Fukuoka City. The tower is 234 meters high and is the tallest seaside tower in Japan.
The body of Fukuoka Tower is a modern building inlaid with 8,000 semi-reflective glasses and is affectionately called "Mirror Sail" because it has a shining mirror-like sail. Through the 360-degree large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows of the observation deck at 123 meters high, you can have a panoramic view of the Fukuoka cityscape and the Hakata Bay. This app made it super easy to reserve a space and time for our trip to NYC. We usually take the train, but needed a car this time. I usually hate looking for parking, so I tried to find a garage near our hotel. When I found that there was one just a block away I went to their website and saw that they had this app. It was super easy to set up and I found a space and was able to adjust the time and complete my transaction from creating an account to having a full parking space reservation in about five minutes. Unfortunately I ended up having to cancel my trip about a week early so I requested a refund and it was instant with no hassle. I think in general, from now on I’ll just use this app to see if there are other parking garages by the same owner, and reserve spaces in those (if I ever have to bring a car back to NYC - I still like the train better). The only 2 things things that I would wish for are: 1. That they had an option to add the parking pass to your Apple Wallet so I just need to bring up a code on my phone when I get there and they scan it. 2. They allowed you to add a previously booked guest reservation to your current account. I started on the web with the reservation and then got the app and wanted to add the reservation to the app, but couldn’t. I kept the app and will now use it from now on instead of checking out as a “guest” from now on. Overall, a great app.
